Blackbird Cakes vary in price according to the size of the cake and the detail of the decorations. Our car and truck cakes are priced from $880, our 3D models are priced from $440 and our 2D cakes are priced from $330. You can get a better idea of the cost of a Blackbird Cake here.

When we calculate the appropriate number of serves for your cake, we take into consideration whether you are serving the cake as the main dessert, or just with tea and coffee after dessert. If it is the main dessert, we suggest that you should order a cake big enough to serve at least one dessert portion per guest, with a few left over... A dessert portion is measured as a 2" x 1" portion x the height of the cake (which is usually three 1" layers of cake and filling). A coffee portion is 1" x 1" x three 1" layers of cake and filling.

The best way to transport your Blackbird Cake is in the boot of your car. We will supply some non-slip mat so that it stays where it is supposed to and show you how to carry the cake. Store your Blackbird Cake in a cool dry position, then portion and freeze your leftovers, if there are any!
